I'm a linguist disguised as an applied scientist at Amazon. These days I talk more with LLMs than with humans beings in my job.

I received my Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of British Columbia. My research concerns how bilingual speakers produce and perceive sounds.

I have a strong interest and training in machine learning, statistics, and natural language processing. I program primarily in Python for machine learning and NLP, and in R for statistical models and visualization.
